The Mill

The Mill building is in a state of disrepair and will need a lot of work to make it habitable. At the moment, it has no roof and no services.

The Mill itself has two floors with a total area of around 275 sq. metres. There is also the relic of a lambing shed on the left side of the Mill which has a floor area of around 85 sq. metres. At the moment, this is a large bramble patch with two walls.

The main building will be renovated to leave the ground floor as open plan as possible with a large kitchen, a separate utility room and cloakroom. Adjoining the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen will be a smaller study and a cosy sitting room with log burner.

The stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor. This needs to be extensively remodelled to make four bedrooms and a bathroom. At the rear of the first floor we intend to create a doorway which will open onto steps leading up to the patio and pool areas.

 

Ground Floor

The ground floor is entered through a large double door which will lead into the open plan living area. Along the back of the building will be the cloakroom, utility room and kitchen. The dining area will be in front of the kitchen. On the left of the living area is the door through to the study and small sitting room.

 

First Floor

The upper floor still retains substantial roof beams which we hope to retain. There are two supporting walls at the rear of the building. The one behind the stairwell will be made into a small bedroom and the one opposite will be used as a corridor leading to the upstairs doorway.

Our master bedroom will cover approximately half of the front left side of the floor so the french windows will be in the bedroom area. On the right side will be two large bedrooms.

 

B&B accomodation

There will be two double bedrooms built into what was the lambing shed. Each will have an ensuite bathroom and windows facing onto the Barranc de Lloret A corridor will separate them and will house a communal fridge and tea making area and there will be a brakfast/private patio area in front
